Astana Finance Days 2026: Eurasia's key financial forum gathers in the capital
Astana hosted Astana Finance Days 2026, a forum that has cemented its role as Eurasia's main financial venue. On the agenda — fintech, digital assets, artificial intelligence in finance, regulation and capital raising; in the corridors — bankers, funds and regulators from dozens of countries.
The roster of topics is itself a snapshot of where the region's finance is heading. AI is discussed no longer as an experiment but as banks' operational reality; digital assets not as exotica but as a forming regulated market where Kazakhstan bids for the hub role. For companies this is a compass: the services banks will show customers in a year or two are being talked through on such stages now.
The practical value of forums comes down to preparation. A simple protocol works: draw up in advance a list of five to seven people or companies whose meeting would repay the attendance, book those meetings before the event, and close the agreements with follow-up letters within a week after. A forum without a target list is an expensive way to listen to other people's panels; with a list, it is the cheapest way to hold ten meetings that would otherwise take a quarter to arrange.
