Banks and marketplaces to share data with tax authority
Kazakhstan's authorities have drafted a proposal to require banks, marketplaces and navigation services to share business data with the tax authority. The draft is now open for public discussion, which runs until September 25, 2026.
Right now tax officials mostly rely on the reports businesses file themselves, but the new channels would give a much fuller picture — money flowing through bank accounts, sales made on marketplaces, and business locations tracked by navigation apps. Spotting gaps between official figures and real operations would become far easier, since the system could cross-check sources the way only a careful auditor used to.
Check now whether the revenue in your reports matches the money moving through your accounts and marketplace sales — once the draft becomes law, those gaps will be visible to more than just your accountant. While the document is under discussion until September 25, 2026, there's still time to bring data from different systems into one consistent picture. Reconciling bank statements, sales and primary documents in real time is exactly what 1Cifer's agents already do, flagging discrepancies before any external check.
