Cyber fraud in Kazakhstan fell 40% in three years

We have already written about the Anti-Fraud Center and banks stopping thefts, and now there are results to report. Over three years the number of cyber frauds in Kazakhstan fell by 40%, meaning cybercrime dropped by almost half. According to the source, the National Anti-Fraud Center has protected more than 117 billion tenge from theft.

The approach matters as much as the figure. Anti-fraud work is built on spotting a deviation in a stream of operations before the money is gone, because cleaning up afterward costs far more.

Check who in your company notices an unusual payment or a strange invoice, and how many days it takes them. At least once a month, compare periods and counterparties. A 1Cifer agent compares periods and looks for anomalies across 1C, bank and spreadsheet data at once, so a suspicious operation can't hide between systems.
