SentinelOne cuts malware analysis from weeks to hours

SentinelOne, a cybersecurity company, used OpenAI Daybreak to cut its malware analysis from several weeks to a few hours. The capacity this frees up lets the team investigate more threats.

The gain is not only about speed. While a single analysis takes weeks, the number of threats a team can look into is capped by its experts' time. When the same analysis fits into hours, spare capacity appears and can go to work that used to be pushed back.

Look for work in your company where a specialist spends weeks on a repetitive pile: reconciling bank statements, vetting counterparties, hunting for discrepancies in the books. Estimate how many such tasks go unexamined purely for lack of time, and start with one of them. Automated checks and anomaly detection in 1Cifer follow the same logic: an agent compares periods and transactions, and a person reviews only what actually raised a question.
