Atlassian and OpenAI link company knowledge to AI models

Atlassian and OpenAI have announced a broader partnership. The goal is to connect OpenAI's frontier models with the knowledge companies have built up in their work systems, so teams can plan, build and deliver work more smoothly.

A model on its own knows little about a specific company: tasks, agreements and documents live in working tools. Once it can reach them, an answer can turn into action, such as finding the right material, drafting a plan or creating a task. That shift from answering to doing increasingly defines how useful AI is in business.

Check where your company's knowledge actually lives: policies, decisions, tasks and figures in 1C, a CRM, spreadsheets, email, or simply in employees' heads. The fewer scattered sources and the clearer the access rights, the sooner AI starts paying off. The same principle sits behind 1Cifer: an agent sees 1C, CRM, bank and email at once and acts within the rights of its role.
