OpenAI launches ChatGPT Work, an AI agent that finishes projects end-to-end
OpenAI introduced ChatGPT Work, a mode in which the AI agent doesn't just answer questions but does the work itself: opening files, switching between applications, holding a task's context for hours, and carrying a goal through to a final result. That's the key difference from a chatbot: instead of a series of separate prompts, a user states the goal once, and the agent breaks it into steps on its own. For businesses in Kazakhstan, this means routine multi-step work - pulling data from different sources, assembling summary documents, first-pass processing of information - can be handed to an agent instead of being stitched together manually across a dozen tabs and files. Before adopting such a tool, it's worth mapping which processes in the company already rely on switching between systems and eat up staff hours - those are the first candidates for automation. At 1Cifer our employee agents work on a similar principle: they take a task, pull the needed data from 1C, CRM and email on their own, carry the process through to a result and prepare a summary - only tuned from the start for Kazakhstani accounting systems and document workflows.
