Network School launched in Astana as an international community of tech teams
Network School officially launched in Astana — an international technology community bringing together entrepreneurs, engineers, researchers and product builders from around the world. The launch took place at the alem.ai international artificial intelligence center with the participation of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev, the Astana Hub cluster, the Astana International Financial Centre and Superteam Kazakhstan.
The format is novel for the region: shared living, work, learning and project development in one environment. The venue is designed for conferences, hackathons, working sessions and long-term team programs, with a separate track for families with children so participants can combine professional and family life. In essence, Kazakhstan is trialing the residency model that in other countries became the assembly point for tech diasporas.
For local business this is not an abstract showcase but a working resource. A concentrated environment of people building AI products and looking for their first markets is appearing next door — and Kazakh companies can be those markets: pilots, joint projects, hiring. It is worth following the venue's events and coming with your own problems: the odds of finding a strong team for a specific business need are higher here than at general conferences.
