Kazakhstan launches Qazaq AI Research University on the AI-X model

Kazakhstan announced the launch of Qazaq AI Research University, built on the AI-X model. The essence is in the name: artificial intelligence is not a separate faculty but a cross-cutting discipline running through every field — from engineering to medicine and economics. A graduate of any specialty leaves able to apply AI in their own domain.

This answers the market's main shortage: companies need not only model researchers but doctors, financiers and agronomists who can set tasks for AI tools and verify their output. Such "bilingual" specialists — fluent in a subject area and in AI — are nearly impossible to hire today, so businesses retrain people themselves, expensively and slowly.

A company owner should treat the university not as education news but as a future talent source that competition will form around. Experience shows the strongest students get claimed through internships long before graduation.
