Slack Can Now Build Reports Inside Chat
Slack is preparing a new feature called Slackforce Surfaces that lets you describe in chat what you need, and AI builds it on the spot. Ask for a report, dashboard, poll, presentation or even a small microsite, and the assistant pulls data from your conversations and connected apps like Google Drive or Salesforce to put it together.
The point is to stop hopping between a dozen tabs just to pull one summary together: the team discusses a task in chat, and a working tool with live numbers appears right there. It turns chat from an archive of messages into a workspace where decisions are made on current data instead of outdated files.
Count how many reports and summaries in your company are still assembled by hand — numbers copied from chats, emails and spreadsheets into a separate document. A similar approach already runs in 1Cifer: each role gets its own agent that pulls a summary from 1C, CRM, email and spreadsheets on request, so managers don't wait for colleagues to send numbers manually.
