Azerbaijan Airlines moves booking and pricing onto the Amadeus platform

Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) has agreed with global IT provider Amadeus to move its revenue management, ticket booking, and distribution onto a single platform. The company says the deal will speed up its digital transformation and improve pricing efficiency through better demand data, while also expanding ticket sales channels.

For Kazakhstan's service-sector businesses — airlines, tour operators, hotels, logistics firms — this illustrates how consolidating scattered booking, accounting, and sales systems into one platform directly affects revenue: it becomes easier to see where customers are lost to an inconvenient sales channel and where pricing underestimates real demand. In our work with Kazakhstani companies, we at 1Cifer see the same logic play out at the back-office level: when data from 1C, CRM, and email is gathered in one place instead of scattered across systems, a manager gets a clear picture of sales, payments, and outstanding debts instead of a pile of disconnected reports.
