Over 50 AI agents already at work in Kazakhstan under the digital transformation strategy
According to the government, more than 50 AI agents have been deployed across Kazakhstan's public agencies and quasi-public sector as part of the national digital transformation strategy. They triage citizen requests, check document completeness, assist service operators and take routine work off staff.
Notably, these are not scripted chatbots but actual AI agents — systems that execute process steps themselves: receive, verify, route, respond. The state is effectively setting a benchmark for the market: once a service can be delivered without queues and manual checks, customers quickly get used to that standard and start expecting it everywhere — from banks, developers and online stores alike.
For a business owner in Kazakhstan, this is a prompt to apply the same lens to internal processes: which requests, checks and approvals still depend on someone manually sorting email and messengers. At 1Cifer we see business moving down the same path as the state, only faster: each role gets its own agent that answers from company data and runs its processes on its own.
