Kazakhstan moves land title issuance fully online via eGov

As of July 12, 2026, businesses and individuals in Kazakhstan can only obtain a state land title deed through the eGov.kz portal — the service is no longer available at physical government service centers. The process requires logging into the portal, selecting the service, filling in the required data, and signing the application with an electronic signature; the finished document then appears in the applicant's online account. According to the operator, 96% of applications were already filed online before the change, so the shift is largely procedural for most users.

For companies that handle land plots — production sites, warehouses, or retail locations — this means the registration and re-registration process should now run fully through digital signatures, and staff responsible for property paperwork need verified portal access and up-to-date e-signatures. Legal and accounting teams involved in real estate deals should update internal procedures to remove the in-person visit step and build in time for electronic document approval instead.
