OpenAI unveils a tool meant to do your work for you — and with you
OpenAI has presented a tool conceived as a work partner: it takes a task and either completes it end-to-end or drives it together with the user — asking clarifying questions, showing intermediate steps, and handing control back when a human decision is needed. It's the next turn after chatbots: from "ask and get an answer" to "delegate and get a result."
The shift matters more than the specific product. Every major office-software vendor is moving the same way — the AI agent becomes a staffed unit of the workflow rather than a side window. Which means competition between companies will soon run not on "do they use AI" but on how intelligently roles are split between people and agents.
For a business in Kazakhstan, sensible preparation costs nothing: describe three to five recurring tasks in your company the way you would brief a new hire — inputs, success criteria, limits of authority. Tomorrow those descriptions become instructions for agents; today they honestly reveal which processes rest on verbal agreements.
